Hello Donald. Managed to get one from a breakers so it’s getting fitted on Tuesday. Hopefully that’ll be the correct one , dealer nearest to me about 30 miles away wanted £130 +vat

hi really struggling to get rear coil spring for Q30. I was told Nissan QASHQAI WOULD FIT ANY ADVISE PLEASE

 

If it helps here is the part number for rear spring 550205DE2A but Infiniti specialism in Yorkshire uses different ones that are slightly shorter but fit and cost £240 posted for a pair as you would have to change both because of spring size

Hi all, I have just discovered this morning that I have a broken spring on the rear/passenger side. Completely snapped in two! Here's the real problem though, I cannot find a replacement spring anywhere in the UK or Ireland. This also includes eBay. Is this a standard spring that may fit other cars? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I would guess Mercedes x156 as per picture GLA 180 / 200 spring. For a quick fix try breakers yard, left or right as they are the same. Your spring will be colour coded with three paint marks so just check you get the same one, as this is to do with spring length and stiffness. I have three orange marks as an example.
For info if you find the correct spring and it is still attached to a car, get the vin number as you could maybe use that with mercedes to find compatible parts in the future for steering suspension, brakes etc?

This will Not work - as the Mercedes A Class from this Generation uses torsion bar rear suspension whilst the q30 is multi link, as many thought the A class rode too hard. a new multi link was used , and the springs are very specific to the Q30 . That being said, depending on how precious one is about the ride height , the springs used on a fwd QX30 will also fit in the rubber bushings , of the springs used in the Q30 . however those are almost as difficult to come across. I am still finding details with regards to a potential swap out for GLA or Qashqai Rear springs .
