What Have I got??

Good evening all,
I have now had my Q30 for a few days and am starting to figure it out, being anal I have found and downloaded a copy of the Q30 brochure on line and am trying to figure out the spec. I bought it as "67" plate premium 1.6t in ink blue but the dealership don't know or care.

As soon as I saw it I recognised from the silver mirrors and rear tints it is in fact a "premium city black" which gave it a few nice extra's like alcantara seats and purple stitching but it has one or two that are not listed as options.....

Around view camera,
Intelligent park assist
Moving object detection

Do you guys Know if the above were options or is the car something other than a city black, I am beginning to think I have dropped lucky on this one, its a one owner car FMSH, 20k miles and unmarked inside and out, it still has the blue protective film on the sill and boot plates and was complete with the Infiniti gift box containing the keys, key ring and branded pen along with receipts for every penny spent, I gave £12.5k for it from a Mazda dealer with an extended Mazda approved warranty for 24mths, Should I be feeling smug?

Yes you should be smug ☺ It might have the Tech pack also which is the around view, the moving object software and keyless entry?
Again it is a bit of a lottery on what or who spec,d it up and it's all worked in your favour 👍 A great find that one anyhow 🖐. Is it a manual or DCT box? Again they were options.
Projector halogen or full matrix LED headlights? I think it has the adaptive radar cruise being the city black?
Great car, now price up an equivalent A class 😉 and feel even more smug 😇

Its an odd one, tech pack would as you say give it keyless entry and chrome door handles but not got those or adaptive cruise but it does have full adaptive LED headlights. Its a M6 trans I would of liked the DCT but couldn't let this one pass, I am looking into a remap though to try and get rid of the throttle lag, but not sure about that will have to dig a bit deeper into it. You are right about the Mercs though, I smirk every time one goes past, I tried an A class it was like driving a park bench and almost twice the price.😀😀
Glad you have the LED headlights as they are fantastic especially as the auto high low beam is excellent and the road position lighting as they cleverly turn with the steering wheel too. I would recommend you check the front wheel arch covers are in place correctly and routinely spray the heat sinks behind that cover and the one behind the lamp from the engine bay with WD40 as it will pay dividends in the long term. A few members here have had corrosion issues from road salt and the like which lead to the lower control module heatsink failing and repairs / replacement required and headlight error notices on the dash etc.
I am hunting headlight protection covers, i am thinking I might modify a set from a Mazda 3 as the lamps look quite similar.

Anyhow safe driving. All the best. Cornish.

I think you should, I know I am...I still get excited every time I lay eyes on mine. Good price for so few miles, year and spec. Result. !
Yes they are certainly a handsome car. after a week I have finally figured mine out, I cant believe I missed the chrome door handles but they look body colour in most light so it wasn't until I washed it that I noticed. It was the same time that I noticed it locking and unlocking itself as I dried it DOHH it has keyless entry and I did not know. So its a Premium in-touch with Tech Pack and 19" twin spoke alloys.
Still have to pop out to the garage sometimes just for a look lol.
There is a write up for the push button start if you haven't got that? As you have the keyless entry already it's just as easy as buying a button and putting it in, you just need the button. 🤗
Thanks for that Cornish, yes I saw that and managed to order the gen Mercedes part on ebay for £17-00 it worked a treat. Must be the easiest upgrade I've ever done. I had planned to get the ECU mapped next week TRC have an offer on at the moment which takes it up to 176 bhp & 300 lb Ft of torque and smooths out the throttle response for £199-00 but when I checked with Direct Line there computer said no lol.
Are we the only two on here lol
Very good price for a remap, company profile and feedback good.
What is not to like? If you get it done I'd be interested in what you think.

Cheers 🖐
Will do, But it will have to wait while Feb when my insurance renewal is due and I can find a more sympathetic insurer. Currently with Direct Line who, when I checked with them, are not interested in any "mods" and it would void my policy. Bloody spoil sports lol
I'm in a similar position, my late 2018 Q30 luxe has the park assist and intelligent cruise control, both gadgets are brilliant but scary as **** the first time you use them !! Would this be the tech pack does anyone know ?
Yes it is odd, I tried it in a supermarket car park and was well impressed, didn't end well though as I forgot to mention it to my wife who had a fit when the car started "driving itself lol.
it is all part of the "tech pack" I believe which is...

park assist
360 camera
chrome door handle inserts ( I didn't notice mine for a week)
keyless entry

as mentioned above if you have keyless entry but not push button start it is easily added
