What's a retailer deposit contribution? does that mean, they pay $1500 of the deposit and take an extra £500 Off?

A deposit contribution is a discount that can be offered by either car manufacturers or dealers to customers who take out specific finance products to buy their cars.

A deposit contribution is nearly always only available to finance customers, and there’s rarely an equivalent discount for customers who don’t buy using finance.

So if you put a deposit of £3653.54 and the contribution is £1500, the total deposit is going to be £5153.54

If you happen to be like me and are in for short term ownership then it adds up especially once you start factoring in other things, like selling your Q30 at the right and the other variables. For everyone its going to be different but I like to operate from a tight budget. Can't go wrong saving, just as long as its a good return on your time.
