Infiniti has done a great job at keeping the Q30 production model under heavy wraps. We last saw the Q30 in heavy camouflage in November of 2014. We now get our next look at the Q30 from some spy shots that were taken in France recently during cold weather testing.
The Q30 mule is still in heavy camouflage, so unfortunately there isn't too much new to see in these spy shots. About the only things that we see that are new is some more duct tape on the model and also some new wheels.
There is quite a bit that we do know about the Q30 though. It will share a platform with the Mercedes-Benz GLA, and it will also share the same engines, mainly a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder power plant. That engine will be built in Decherd, Tennessee. There could also be an engine from the Daimler-Renault collaboration as well.
The Q30 and QX30 should be debuting this year with sales starting in late 2015 or early 2016. Production of the Q30 will take place in Sunderland, England.
