Hi I am also new to the Forum, (15 minutes ago), and like you would like to update my Sat Nav. Ive checked out my car and cant find where the SD card is located despite trying to find it in the manual. any help would be greatly appreciated. I have a 1916 Q30S 1.5 Diesel.
Sat Nav update
Hi Guys, I’m new to the Forum so be gentle with me! I have a 2016 Q30, ( had it for nearly 2 yrs) I’ve had loads of cars over the years but this has got to be up there as one of the best! Having said that it does suffer from a couple of ” niggles”, So any advice or observations would be most welcome, firstly,on occasion,when I start the engine,the fuel flap pops open! Weird hey? Secondly,the offside rear brake light lense has condensation in it ( the original having been replaced due to the same problem) I can’t buy a third so a fix would be preferable, and finally,can you update the Sat Nav SD card? Without buying another? Thanks for listening and hope you can help,?

Hi John, the SD card is located in the arm rest, previous cars I’ve owned ( not Infiniti ) where able to update the SD card but as I understand it you can’t with the Infiniti? ( unless someone tells me otherwise!)
Hi Ged, I have looked in the armrest and I'm blowed if I can see it, will have another look. Hiya John, You’ve got me doubting myself now, I’ve checked again and it’s definitely there! There’s a dust flap ( next to a cigarette lighter outlet) flip it open and hey presto! Don’t forget it’s in the armrest,good luck,
Hi Ged, I found it, yipee!! I saw the cover, what I thought was a blank cover, Ive just flicked it up and hey presto its there! Glad you found it! You can buy a replacement card but I’ve been told they’re about £200 ( ish) That really isn’t fair as I said,other makes of vehicle allow you to update the card via their website but it seems not Infiniti, if you hear any different let me know, Cheers
Wow tha'ts a right rip off. Before getting my Q30 I had a Ford Kuga and I could buy the genuine Ford Kuga update sat nav SD car for about £30.....take the old card out, slot the new one in, easy.......but no way am I paying £200 ish to update mine, I'd rather use my mobile!! Anyway Ged if I hear of a cheaper option I'd defo let you know. Cheers for now.
I've got 2020 infinity update sat nav sd card [email protected] if anyone wants buy it open offers but it did cost a lot
