I've wondered a lot recently about whether our cars are at their peak of interest around about now and that the model could be hiding the potential to take a strong nose-dive in both future ownership potential and future value?

Long-term servicing, diagnostics, repairs and parts availability may be a factor, or do we think there's always going to be an attraction to the 'exclusivity on a budget' that probably drew us all in to begin with?

I think these cars will always have a small, but fervent, bunch of followers.
Many of them still have very few miles on them and they are built to last. If only I could find one at a reasonable price!
Just managed to have a seat and short drive in a 2.0 petrol. Very nicely appointed, drives well, has a good turn of speed but can amble along quite happily. Gearbox seems to be good. Enough space for two people and their luggage, easily so and fit and finish was very good.
I'm hoping prices dive over the enxt few months so I can pick up a nice one at a good price.
