Hopefully not.. dealing with soaked seats, you may as well replace them because the foam gets super messed up quite easily.

Not what happens to seats when they get soaked, the worse I've ever don'e is condensation from a water bottle, not outright soaked through.

Best to bring a leaking vehicle back to the dealership so they can water pressure test it for you and they'll document any leaks they find. This way if there is any water damage down the road caused by the leak, they should cover it.

they should have a machine specifically for it that runs it through a cycle. years ago working in a dealership I remember seeing them have a machine to do something similar to the engine.

but just because a certain dealer is charging you for a service doesn't mean THEY are doing it, some might even contract the work out to a shop that has the right equipment and basically act as the broker for the work order.

The weather proofing strip should still be able to block any moisture from entering the vehicle from any opening. Definitely go to the dealership and have them deal with that. Also check around where the water puddle is to see if anything is damaged because that'll lead to mold, rust, etc.
