Good morning all

Looking at potentially buying a 2016 Q30 2.2 Sport.
Low mileage @ just under 20k miles, 2 owner.
£12,500.

Trying unsuccessfully to find a bit of info on service intervals, so I can work out what it might cost me in the next few years. Is there a major service coming up? I found something that suggested a 5 year timing belt, so just wondering if that’s right and, if so, how much would I be looking at.
I would be using an independent garage if I did buy.

Any other tips would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Hi Craig, most garages should give you three months warranty. As it's the 2.2 diesel, car will have the 2.1 Mercedes engine, gearbox etc. Unsure on service intervals but I'd guess should be serviced once a year so four year old car should have three or four services. At 20k its maybe had a service every 5000 miles?
Nissan who own Infiniti have trained a selection of Nissan garages across the UK, this is useful as we can order genuine infiniti parts as exterior parts, lights and electronics, they also have the proper software to reprogram the nissan in-touch screen and purchase new satnav maps etc.
Or just find a mercedes garage for genuine standard service items, some items are difficult to service - example the DCT, I have researched it and can get it serviced at an independent Mercedes garage for less than 400. Its £3k new so worth getting serviced.
I think Mercedes do fixed price servicing so just get a price for a GLA 250d 2016... A or B service depending on what's required...
Great car, good mpg. You price up a Mercedes for that money... Add 5k you might find one
