Hi i have just joined your forum, I have a Q30 2.2 AWD Sport Automatic and I am having a problem with the Gearbox, whilst driving it jumps out off gear and won't re-engage and I have to turn the ignition off and wait for a few minutes and turn it on again. It can be dangerous if I am in busy traffic and cant get to the side of the road to stop.
I was wondering If any one else has had a similar problem as my Infiniti Dealer can not find the cause.

Have you checked the gearbox oil level? You can buy the correct dipstick for less than £15.
Just thinking maybe it is low on oil, gearbox getting hot and places itself into neutral? It may be due a gearbox oil change? 45k miles is the collective opinion.
You need a code scanner. Must be a fault code on the OBD I would guess.
I would ask the garage what the level reading was as with the consul software the car can report this information. 85'c oil temp should read between 5 and 8 I think on dipstick.
