Q30 looks like it will be manufactured at Nissan's factory in Sunderland, UK.

The Q30 is confirmed to be based on Mercedes-Benz's FWD platform that underpins the CLA and upcoming GLA models. Q30 will go into production in late 2014 or early 2015 and is expected to move 60,000 cars per year. No word on if the UK facility will share duty with Mercedes.

its likely the Q30 is offered with MB's 1.6- and 2.0-liter turbo gas plants, along with the 1.8- and 2.2-liter diesels but probably not in NA. Infiniti could also do an AWD/hybrid direction. Smartly they should scrounge around for a few AMG tuned turbo 2L's that pump north of 300 bhp.

I thought the Q30 would be made along side the Mercedes CLA?

What source mentioned UK?

Just curious
Infiniti Q30 concept set for Frankfurt reveal | Autocar

Previously, Infiniti has downplayed concerns that the Q30, which is set to go on sale in 2015 and will be built in Sunderland, would be 'a copy of the Nissan Qashqai'.
Its a British article so they could be indicating domestic production only. I'm in the same boat was convinced it was getting built in Mexico, then news hits Q30 is heading to frankfurt and all of a sudden the Q30 is being built on the other side of the pond...
