Personally, I could do without the stripes. But the upgraded skirts and power... I'd take it.

Larte Design has come up with some upgrades for the Q30 equipped with the 2.2L Diesel. First off, the engine has endured an upgrade from 170hp to 205hp and 410Nm of torque.

The body kit has been added on along with some orange and black stripes. Front bumper has received a bit of trim finished in gloss black. Side skirts have taken a bit of enhancement as well. The trunk got a little wing-thing added on and a fake diffuser tail.

Lastly throw on some 21x9 wheels and this is what you have !

This is to me an exemplary lesson on how to completely **** up an otherwise elegant design.

Could not possibly agree anymore with that. I don't even like the wheel choice at all. The stripes ?! Dear lord why ?!

At this point you might as well rip off the Infiniti badge and throw on Nissan badges because right now its looking like a Murano or something along those lines.

Oddly enough, that design reminds me of the coca cola bottles. But the 35hp increase from the upgrade, wonder how much that kit costs.
That's really the only tidbit that matters to be honest lol. Might as well just get it tuned though and call it day.

Seems like the engine was remapped for more power and torque, that may be of interest to some people who are looking for a bit more power. Everything else on that Q30 is mostly for aesthetics like the chin spoiler, trunk wing, etc.

How much do you think the remap is going to cost if someone was interested? The base model they used has a 2.2-liter diesel engine so would the tune work for gas engines?

Someone will.. worst case scenario just take it to you're local (reputable) tuner and see what they say. I'm sure they can figure something out with it.

The Q30 is fine and not really the kind of vehicle you go around tuning and dropping. That's what hot hatches and coupes are for.

That is true. But sometimes people just want that extra little kick out of it. Whether it's a bit more power or just better throttle response. You can also make it more efficient through tuning as well which is a big thing for people that figure that out. You're not trying to make a track beast, just trying to get it to suit your preferences a little bit better

True but to some extend modifying is okay, you just shouldn't go crazy aggressive. In my case I wouldn't deviate much from what infiniti would do, instead my mods would aim to be equivalent to say... an IPL package.
