do you plan to wire your own LED strips make your interior light up? Won't be as seamless on the dash but you can hide some in the footwells.

I definitely will be wiring my own LED strips :D

I currently have it done on my daily drive with blue led strips under the foot area :)

but seems like the upper dash area is going to be hard to hide the wires. :(

there's really nowhere you can add LED strips on the dash without having them look cheap and be very prominent. It just wasn't meant for a mod like that.

I hope they give us some variation in color that is like the mercedes s-class, it's just about the easiest s-class like thing they can give us:

Has anyone had any experience with "EL Wire" ? Apparently it's great for lighting dashes and door panels in the creases and what not ?

No sure how the EL Wire inverters would work with the car's battery. I'm no electrician so this is the first time I'm taking a close look at these.

I just watched a sort of crash course on Youtube but it'll probably make more sense to you.

They actually have automotive kits available, they come with a 12v inverter so it's as simple as connecting power and ground. Even have sound controlled options. I'm sure they come with full instructions as well, it usually looks a lot harder than it actually is. They also sell a kit that just uses the cigarette lighter port !

High-Bright EL wire kits from $0.98/ft. in 10 colors

There's a lot of options but you'll have to take a look at how the wires look in the daytime. It's cool at night but how about when they're not lit up?

Thats definitely a key thing, from what I've seen, they're typically coloured according to the output they give. Could look very messy very easily if not aligned perfectly straight and in the right areas. Especially if your using high contrasting colours
