Infiniti Q30 Trunk Space

Looking at the rear of the Q30 there seems to be barely any carrying capacity. the passenger seats take up most of the room in the rear of the cabin so would storage be an issue or are you will to make the sacrifice?

sure seems like cargo space will be limited.
a great place to start with figuring out what exactly what we have to work with will be finding out the trunk dimensions. If they don't include a spare tire, it will free up a good amount of space
In another angle I saw, the trunk is actually pretty deep. And one thing on a compact that you can't leave out is the rear folding seats which I am almost a hundred percent that the Q30 would have it. That would solve the problem.. when you dont have passengers of course.
trunks space is a big part of the game but not seeing enough and not knowing the exact dimensions could have us speculating the worst. I just wish there were physical numbers we can work with.

folding seats would be a big plus.

exactly.

folding seats i think will happen, they have no reason not to. with the Q30 having a hatch-like rear it's almost guaranteed it will have folding seats.

an extended wheel base model would also be something to consider for more space
Folding seats is a must for the Q30, I would be a shame if they ever left that feature out. even with the bulge in the rear I would say there isn't enough space.
They better because there is no other way to make room for storage. The glass roof takes out the option for a roof rack to mount top boxes for more storage capacity.

Well then, so you would either have to have another vehicle with a reasonable amount of space to carry and transport things or just buy a hitch/receiver and tow a trailer : )

I would think that the Q30 would be using run flat tires and a tire pressure monitor system instead of carrying extra weight from the spare tire. Just thinking green.

Hybrids usually go this route so I don't think the Q30 should be any different.
We're also looking at a concept here. Its very possible the production version of Q30 alters some of the rakishness the roof has. Whats also possible is something similar to the 2 Series GT where a compartment is hidden under the floorboard in the trunk..
I have faith that the Q30 in having a decent amount of space. And if what you say is true about the hidden compartment that would be a bonus.
