Someone at Car Advice test drove a Q30 2.2D Sport Premium during a long weekend and wrote an interesting review. One good thing about getting the Liquid Copper paint option is how easy it is to spot. Picking someone up at the airport among a sea of cars? Tell them to find the only pink car there while the other white and black cars blend into each other.

That's color is one of the things I really like about Infiniti, they've been doing certain things with design that set them apart from the rest and just doesn't blend in or becomes another of something else, and to think this is just the beginning, the first year of the Q30 along with many other models.

This is what people will pay good money for.

"It did feature speed sign recognition, which was a huge help, especially given that it was double demerits over the long weekend. Every time we passed a speed sign, it would pop up in the instrument cluster display giving a clear visual alert that the speed limit had changed. "

Sometimes I make a turn onto another street but I have missed a speed sign and second guess myself.

Oh that happens to me quite often. Especially when I go into different regions, I often forget the speed limit raises/decreases on main roads.

One gripe they seemed to have with the touchscreen was it's sensitivity. I'm used to tapping with the very tip of my finger instead of using the whole pad. It's going to feel clunky until you get used to it.

Maybe it was just the journalist who wasn't tapping hard enough or using just their fingernails on it.

it could even be the fact that they had a faulty infotainment system since this is a new vehicle there's always that chance, even with something simple enough and common enough as a infotainment and the various parts of it; touchscreen, etc.

We just need a sample size of Q30's to really get a grip on what it's like overall.
