For such a small car the interior looks spacious. Maybe it's just an illusion from the suicide doors making the interior look inviting and frame free.

Is it me or is the windshield/roof a concern for sunlight?
Ever notice how the concept cars always seat 4 with the in between being an arm rest. That never makes it to production. And why would it. people want to be able to fit more people in the car. It would be comfortable, but most people would want to have the option of another person instead.

Funny how the guy has to wear white gloves when driving the Etherea concept.
cool stuff. Ive actually never seen much videos of the concept. I'm surprised this concept works mostly.

Drives and the interior works.
most concepts are fully functioning vehicles, just that they never really need them to do much other than what they need them to do at auto shows and in video's they create of the concept.
I wonder about the roof too. Would that make the interior blazing hot after parking in the sun? Is it even street legal since the glass could break in a roll over accident?
Maybe they put that window tint on the panoramic roof to stop the car from heating up so much and to protect you from UV rays. Seems like a good way to solve that problem.
notice how he has to PUSH the doors closed? lol

they probably dont close properly

do you think the Q30 will have suicide doors like that in production? :D

That is the concept though. kind of sad the concept had to be like this but I know the production model won't, it would be stupid if that's actually what happens. worst area to mess up in, if they mess up somewhere, at least let it be some complicated thing.

doors aren't rocket science.
I don't think people would really want suicide doors. The only cars that they make sense on are Rolls-Royces and the like. It would just look out of place on a vehicle like the Q30.

Cars like the RX-8 had them, used in that fashion it works well.
Using it as something to make the car seem flashy wont work, better on a rolls.
agreed I think suicide doors would be impractical on a car like Q30. I'd love to see them just because I think the last mainstream vehicle to come with OEM suicide doors was the '64 continental. But theres likely a reason for that ;)

i still wouldn't mind seeing the Q30 doors open like the RX8, i think that can work:
