For those of you that are interested to know the length of the Q30 to have a number to compare. It measures 4400mm in length which is 14.4 feet. Compared to the slightly larger sibling the Q50 which is 15.6 feet its not too far off. But the main difference will be in the shoulder room (Width)

That is not much of a difference in length but the width for sure would be more considering the Q50 is a class higher in the middle sized sedan category.
thanks for providing this info
now im kind of concerned about rear passenger space, just looking at the side of the rear doors it makes me wonder, also the shorter wheel base.
hopefully the Q30 will be able to fit 4 average size american adults
You can tell how unique infiniti tried to make the Q30. From the modern curves and bulges to the suicide doors. There are no flat boring surfaces here. I wouldn't let that measurement get the best of you. It's all with in the placement of the seats and panels that would make a world of a difference for the interior space.

With the doors open it doesn't look all that bad. Judging from the picture the passengers in the rear seem to have enough leg room. And the higher round roof provides a decent amount of head room. It's all in the arch from the roof that makes the difference in my opinion.

Looking at rear passenger leg room.... i can't say they have enough. Doesn't seem like it would be very comfortable for a 5'11 guy like me to sit back their. I bet there would be some limit on how far back the rear seats can go as to retain rear cargo space.
Perhaps a longer wheel base might help with making more room in the rear. The head space might be an issue but it would be too bad for me since i will just be in the driver's seat.
