Infiniti Q60 Forum - The Largest 2017+ Infiniti Q60 Coupe Forum And Community!

Fans of sexy Japanese rear-wheel drive coupes should prepare themselves, we finally have photos of the new 2017 Infiniti Q60 completely uncovered before its debut at the 2016 Detroit Auto Show.

This pretty red coupe was spotted while filming what looks like a promotional video or photo shoot for the car outside of Las Vegas.

Essentially a two-door version of the Q50, the 2017 Infiniti Q60 will use be available with some new hardware under the hood. Expect to see a 3.0-liter V6 in a range topping model, that will be turbocharged to make 400 hp. For more mainstream models, expect a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that’s borrowed from Mercedes. That four-banger isn’t expected to make much more than 200 hp.

The Q60 should feature a dramatically restyled interior. Expect the same InTouch infotainment system that’s found in the Q50, but the rest of the interior to be sportier in order for the Japanese luxury coupe to compete with the likes of the BMW 4-Series, Mercedes C-Class Coupe and Lexus RC.

The whole thing looks very sloped towards the front. Like the contours on the side though. It looks good here, but there also isn't anything too surprising about it.

Not sure if they meant to, but the design choice might have been done to keep with that historical design language. It is the same as the Q60 Concept, but for some reason it looks better on that.

What might help for some of us is seeing the production model in a different color, like the production car in a color similar to what's on the concept.

I think I know why it's odd looking at it from the back, the roof lines looks angled in such a way onto the trunk making the back look more narrow than the front. But that doesn't explain the odd shape from the side... Hmmm

When it comes to everything above the belt line, yes. But everything below that looks quite even from front to back and that's how coupes have been for decades:
