From my experience with other cars, you should check first the wiring under the seat. After that, usually, the resistance in the seat breaks, when someone puts a lot of pressure in one spot. It usually occurs at the car wash, when the cleaners put their knee on the seat to reach some places, or even you could have done it. If you have a diagnostic tool, you should have some kind of error. If you erase it and it still occurs, it's clearly from the wiring under or inside the seat.
