Default 2016 Paris Motor Show Coverage

Quote:
It’s September which means we’re back in Europe to take in the hottest new reveals and concept cars. In Paris you can expect cars from your favourite luxury automakers like the new BMW 5 series sedan and X2 crossover, or the new Mercedes GLC43 Coupe or AMG GT Roadster. Even Land Rover is getting in on the show with a new Discovery. There are also rumors of a new VW EV to hit the show, in order to distract people from that whole TDI scandal.

You can also expect many high end cars and exotics to make a splash, with Ferrari looking to make a big deal about its 70th anniversary. Keep your eyes peeled right here for all the details.

Maybe Infiniti will reveal future plans for the Q30. Sure we have the sport model but I wouldn't mind seeing a Q30 with more power.

Infiniti brought a slightly updated Q50 to the show along with, I think, the debut of their variable compression turbo engines.

They also presented a matte grey QX Sport Inspiration concept SUV at the show. It's like a beefier Q30, I'd actually want one if it looks like that but I highly doubt a production model will look like its concept.

If it looked like that, I would definitely be on board for that instead.

I'd grab one too if it looked like that but concept designs are generally known to be a lot better looking than the production model. Infiniti will definitely tone down the body panel pinching. If only they sold those rims as an option...

Those rims are nice but if infiniti does decide to offer them, you can be sure that they won't come cheap. Looks like they belong on an expensive luxury car.

It actually looks like a beefier Q30 with less curves and huge wheel arches. Maybe Infiniti will borrow a Merceds platform again for the QX Sport.

For some reason I'm seeing something like an Evoque. Probably just because I'm looking at roof line and majority of these vehicles share a very similar roof line which isn't anything surprising at all of course.

Besides the roof-line, there really isn't any other similarities between the two models. The Evoque has a square overall design and that works for them, while Infiniti likes to go with curves.
