Default Infiniti Q30 Test Drive At Your Doorstep

For a limited time, Infiniti will bring a Q30 to wherever you are for a 60 minute test drive. This is only available for Great Britain residents that are 25 and older. You also need to live within 18 miles of the participating center and book your test drive before the event starts.

A good way to test drive one first.

Looks like a few of these test rides have started already. Would be great to hear about it from a few people who took part in this doorstep test ride. won't be surprised if a few of them used the Q30 for a few chores on their list.

Make sure to check Instagram around those dates and search using the type of hashtags people would be most likely to use... i'm sure everyone knows how much people love posting about experiences like this... instant bragging rights!

Someone in the UK has test driven the Q30 and it may have been the travelling Q30. She didn't say much on twitter besides having a great weekend driving it.

She probably had to sign some agreement to only disclose information at a certain date, much like what publications always agree to, reason why you see them release reviews all at the same time, or almost.

I actually never took that into consideration... Do they really do that even for consumer test drives ?!

Not to my knowledge, this time around it might have been through some selective process. But for the most part when considering the industry as a whole it's just with publications and people that can have a similar voice about the product.

Those things are generally signed by journalists and not customer testers, she probably didn't have much to say beyond having a good time in the Q30.

I was invited to test drive a Q30 the other day, it was a follow up to a request which I had made a while ago as for some time I have been looking for the right (for me) SUV/Crossover/whatever. Infiniti at the time offered me to test drive a diesel version so I said no thank you I am not a truck driver, be kind enough to contact me when you have a petrol version with automatic gearbox, i.e. a proper car.

I was a bit prejudiced because, having looked at the specs, I was not overwhelmed by the ride height but well, I had nothing better to do and it was free, so I went.

I was offered to drive a 1.6t 7DCT (156 PS) and well, as soon as I was at the wheel, I felt immediately at home, the car feels good right from the start, it’s very comfortable, nimble, nippy and thoroughly enjoyable and I ended up buying it a couple of days later (note that I had been looking for the right car for about a year).

I bought the Premium Tech model with Intouch navigation pack, safety pack and the indispensable glass roof. Why indispensable, because the car, not being exactly an SUV, is not very high whereas on the other hand ground clearance is higher than most non SUV cars and therefore the headroom is not huge and if you don’t have a glass roof, you may feel a bit claustrophobic.
